We had Connor's 2 week check up today and everything looked great. He has gained a whole pound since birth, now weighing 7 lbs 11 oz (25th percentile), has grown 2 inches, now at 21 1/2 inches long (75th percentile), and is in the 50 percentile for head circumference. I must say he is a growing boy!! He also had to get his heel pricked today and he was not a happy camper. I had to hold him in my arms while they pricked him, and he went to crying & screaming, which brought tears to my eyes, to know that he was in pain. I wish they would take the babies out of the room to do the pricking and shots. So we go back in 2 months to get his shots and daddy will have to go with us next time. ReplyDeleteSo sad sorry about the foot pricking sometimes I think that hurts more than the shots b/c not only do they prick you they squeeze the foot again and again :( Poor sweet baby Connor!!!!
