Our weekend started on Wednesday when my dad came to help me pack up my classroom at Travis and move it to Northside. While we were doing that, Aunt Shay kept Connor for the first time for a couple of hours. Then on Thursday morning, we had a swimming play date at Mallory & Daton's house. Although Connor couldn't participate in swimming, he did dress for the occassion in his swimming attire that was a little big on him. His swim trunks looked like pants on him! (picture below) Then Thursday evening, Connor went to stay with Nanna & Pops while mommy & daddy went to the CCA banquet and won NOTHING as usual. Then Friday morning, we got up and went to the grocery store and headed to the bay for the first time with Connor. MeMe and Juliann came and stayed Friday night and left by lunch time Saturday. Connor did have some special visitors at the bay on Saturday. Billy & Jenna came to visit for awhile. Then Saturday afternoon, Connor took about a 4 hour nap, so mommy & daddy turned the monitor on and sat outside for awhile and had a few drinks and visited. It is no fun to stay inside at the bay, so we had to take advantage of the short time we had :)
On a side note, Connor turned 6 weeks today. Wow has time flown by!

ReplyDeleteHe gets the hair from me. I was born with a whole head of black hair that later turned into riglets. His hair is a little curly when it is wet, so I am waiting to see if he will have curly hair. Everyone says he looks like my husband.
