Then, within the last couple of months, Connor had been waking up in the middle of the night 2 and 3 times a night coming in our room and waking us up. Then I would have to walk him back and tuck in back in, and it was getting OLD. So we told him that if he could stay in his bed all night like a big boy, that we would get him a big boy bed. So the next night, he did, and the night after that, and the next night. Every morning he would come in the room and tell us that he slept all night in his bed that he needed a big boy bed. So last weekend, we went to order a mattress and was in on Tuesday. So we went to pick it up and just set it against the wall in the house, cause there was no time to set his bed up that night. He kept bugging us to let him sleep on the mattress and take it in his room. So I think Jayson was tired of him asking and talking about it, that he tackled the task of converting the toddler bed to the full bed the next night. Thanks to the help of Fops and Clay, they had it done in about an hour. Of course, Connor was right there in the middle of it all trying to help. He was so excited!
don't mind the Christmas pajamas he is still wearing
Luke enjoys Connor's bed just as much. He gets on there and tries to bounce on all fours.
Onto Luke....
I am happy to say that we are paci free! I took it away cold turkey and it was actually pretty easy with him. A few weeks ago on a Friday night, he stayed up longer than usual so going to bed without the paci was not a big deal, he was so exhausted. Then on Saturday we were not at home, but on the go all day long so he slept in his car seat without a paci. Then Saturday night was a repeat of Friday night. Sunday night, was the first night he actually threw a fight going to bed without a paci. It probably lasted 10 minutes, but after that night, he goes down rather easy.
Luke has become such the talker lately and he likes to carry on conversations too, but just can't quite make out what he is trying to tell you. But when he wants something, he will go to you and want to be held and will point to what he wants and grunting for the item.

They are getting so big! Yay for the big boy beds and no paci...I know both of those take lots of work to get ready for!
