Opening Weekend

Jayson and the boys went to Vienna Friday morning with Nanna and Fops in preparation for opening weekend. We always start the weekend with a great delicious pot of seafood gumbo. Well Connor was up the night before with fever, chills, and throwing up, I was thinking that he has a stomach virus or had way to much candy the night before since it was Halloween.

Luke keeping himself busy

Well Saturday morning, he woke up acting himself and not running any fever. The guys were out hunting that morning and fops shot him an 8 pointer in Eagle Lake.

They boys shootin at anything that moves
Once they got back to the house they had to clean the deer and Nanna, they boys and myself headed to Aunt Sharon's for the annual fried chicken lunch. When we were leaving Sharon's, Connor complained that he didn't fell good again. I asked what hurt and he told me his throat. Once we got to the house, looked in his throat and sure enough, enlarged tonsils covered in white patches. I knew tylenol was not going to do the trick so we headed to the ER in Hallettesville. They got us in and out within 30 minutes - saying he had tonsillitis. So we got the prescription and headed back to the house. With much needed rest he started feeling better and then he started running fever again Tuesday night. Took him to the walk in clinic and they said he had some kind of infection, because he was not able to cough up the mucus. So then it was passed onto Luke who now has bronchitis. It is no fun with two sick kiddos home with you both needing your attention.
