Good Bye Summer

Labor Day is always our last big weekend at the bay to end sweet summer time. Although I hate to see it go, I am excited about the cooler weather ahead and the start of football and hunting season. Jayson went down to the bay Thursday night to do some pre-fishing Friday for the Port Alto Tournament that was held on Saturday. The boys and I headed down there Friday after school. The kids enjoyed swimming, the bounce house and the water slide as they dodged some rain showers Saturday morning, while all the men where out fishing. Jayson's team ended up with 5 trout and 1 red, placed 6th out of 30 something teams.

Sunday, we headed out in the boat for the regatta and ended at the point for a few hours.
