I have been waiting until summer to transform Connor's crib into his toddler bed thinking we would have to train him to stay in his bed. This is why I didn't do this when Luke was born 6 months ago. He never tried climbing out of his crib, so I figured just wait until I could really work with him. So yesterday, Jayson converted his crib to his "Big Boy Bed." We kept telling Connor he was getting a big boy bed and he kept telling us NO. So the boys and I went for a walk while Jayson converted it, so when we got home, Connor went to check it out. He smile and said big bed and told Jayson to put the door on. He had to convince him that there is not door on a big boy bed. So after his bath, he had to climb in and check everything out.

Surprisingly, we went to bed with no problem. He climbed right in, laid down, we put his blanket on top of him and closed the door. Went into my room to listen to the monitor and there wasn't a peep to be heard. Don't know if he was so tired or scared of his new bed. So we will see if tonight is any different. It can't be this easy, can it???
