4 Months Old

On Friday Connor turned 4 months old and went to his check up. He did extremely well with his shots this time. He cried just a little when he was poked and then that was it.  Here  are his latest stats:

Height - 25 in. (50%)

Weight - 14.8 lbs (50%)

Head - 16 3/4in (50%)

Here is what Connor is doing at 4 months:

* Sits and stands with assistance

* Rolls from stomach to back

* Reaches for objects and everything goes in his mouth, especially hands

* Laughs especially in his ticklish spots (teeth may becoming soon)

* Smiles ALL the time

* Still sleeps through the night (close to 10 hours)

* Drinks a 6oz bottle every 4 hours

* Tries to hold his own bottle

 4 months means that is the start of solid food. So we gave him rice cereal for the first time last night and he did surprisingly good. The first few spoonfuls I gave him, he played with it and spit most of it back out. So then I would give him his bottle and quickly pull it out and put other spoonful in his mouth and give him his bottle back. The process seemed to go smoothly.  Here are some pictures of him getting the first taste:
