We are so excited to announce we are expecting our first child in May. I found out that I was pregnant on Septemeber 11 when I did a home test. I went and told Jayson right away and the first thing he said to me was, how are you going to get by this weekend without drinking, becuase we had Chad & Robyn's wedding. I called the doctor right way that morning, but I couldn't get in for two weeks. Finally, when I did go in, I was already six weeks along. The doctor did a sonogram and she was able to find a heartbeat. That was so great to see!!! That weekend, we told our parents but no one else. I think it was harder for our parents to keep the secret than it was for Jayson and I. I went back to the doctor four weeks later and they did another sonogram and we were able to see the head and body. So, here is the picture from that appiontment when I was 10 weeks.
At my last visit, the doctor checked the heart rate and it was 159. My next visit on Decemeber 22, when we will find out what we are having. It will be such a great Christmas present!! Can't wait to start buying things and decorating!!!!
Welcome to the World Of Blogging! I am so happy to see you started one for you, Jayson and the little one on the way! It is not only a great way for friends and family to know all your business...but I think it will be cool to one day, much later, to show the kids everything that went on while pregnant and them growing up. :) Good Job Jennifer!
