This past weekend Connor participated in his first Lil Salties fishing tournament. We stayed at the bay Friday night so we could take the boat out Saturday morning. We got up about 7:00, got dressed and PaPa went to get his boat from Larry's and his boat was covered in owl poop! There was not enough time to clean, so we had to resort to plan B which was to fish off the pier. It was very over cast and a bit chilly, but we made the best of it. We ended up with 5 fish ( all gaftop) between Connor and the girls, so at least they were able to weigh something in. All the kids were great sports while waiting for fish to bite, and we probably fished for an hour.

Connor was a little shy at first wanting me to help him, but by the third cast, he wanted to do it all by himself.
Then it was time for the awards
He was one proud fisherman!

Then we went to the beach for a few hours and the kids had a blast digging and getting wet
