Rodeo Time

On Saturday we went to the Rodeo with Nanna & Fops and met up with Clay, Clint & Vikki. It was Clay's 21st Birthday. I made him a beer cake for his birthday with a bunch of goodies included:

Connor was so excited to go to the "radio"

 and Luke, just not happy...

We made a full day of it by getting there at 10:30 a.m. Our first stop was the petting zoo..

Then it was off to the Farmer's Market
first we planted a bell pepper, rode the tractor, then harvesting corn
feeding the chickens and collecting eggs
selling the products to the market

Then is was off to eat a little lunch and  headed inside to see the different exhibits. Before we knew it, this is what we had...

So after an 1 1/2 hour nap, it was time to head to the stadium to check out the rodeo and the performance.

Luke absolutely loved all the action of the rodeo. He kept saying horsey and would giggle. Connor on theother hand was interested for a short amount of time and kept asking when are we going home. Needless to say, we made lots of trips up and down the stairs to let them run around and burn some energy.
So then it was time for some Band Perry. Well, we were only able to see them perform 2 songs and then Luke had enough. So Jayson and I got the stroller and walked around the stadium until Nanna and Fops were ready to go.

The boys were actually good the entire time we were there, and were ready to bed!!!
