Easter 2 0f 3

Saturday morning we woke up to filled baskets from the Easter Bunny. So the boys got into their Easter outfits MeMe bought them and took pictures and open their goodies.

Then we headed to Vienna to celebrate Easter with Nanna and Pops

and received some garden tools to help in the yard

All Connor wanted to do while there was ride the tractor. He had Pops, Nanna, Daddy, and Uncle Clint give him rides through out the day.

Uncle Clay brought a horse thinking we could get Connor on it, but he had no interest.

Then it was time to start boiling some crawfish.

Just as soon as the guys finished cooking and eating a plate of crawfish, Pops received a phone call from his doctor that he had been seeing the last few weeks. He had been running fever for over a month and was having blood test ran to see what was going on. So the doctor called about 7:30 p.m. to let him know that she just received his results and that he had a bacterial infection in his blood, that he needed to report to the hospital first thing in the morning to get started on an antibiotic via IV. So of course, appetites were lost thinking of what was to come. So we cleaned up everything and Nanna and Pops went back to EC for the night, while we stayed in Vienna for the night. It was too much to load the kids up and head back to EC. There wasn't much we could do anyway.

Well Pops was able to come home today, but will still have to have antibiotics via IV from a home health nurse for the next 4-6 weeks. He had more test ran while in the hospital and they are not sure where he could have picked this up at. We will continue to pray that everything comes back normal and that no damage had occurred.
