We have a contract!

Finally, we have a contract on our house in Sugar Land. It has been a long two weeks being apart from one another, and we stil have two more to go before we are back together as a family again. I just wish this could have happened this summer so I could have packed the house. So instead it is ALL in Jayson's hands. He is having to pack in the evenings when he gets home. We are planning to move the weekend of September 11th, although we close on September 23. We haven't found a house that we just love and want to live in for the rest of our lives, so we are renting a house for 6 months and see if anything comes available. I wish we could have just move from one house to another (that we would stay in forever), but that just isn't going to happen. Or if you could just pick up the entire house and move it. I guess I should be happy that we have a contract on our house :) Well, I am going to miss that house. It was our first home together and Connor's first home which he will never remember it.
