Well, he didn't actually catch a marlin, but did catch an Ahi (tuna). Actually, Clint and Jayson both caught an Ahi at the same time. Clint reeled his in first which he fought for about 45 min. and then Jayson was able to hop in the chair and finish fighting his tuna which took him about an 1 1/2 hours. Clint's tuna weighed in at 154 lbs and Jayson weighed in at 210 lbs. The captain of the boat said it is rare to hook up on two fish at the same time, but it happend to them. Here they are, proud of their catch.
And here was their dinner that night - fresh tuna steaks
The next day Clay hooked up on a marlin. He fought it for about 45 min. In Hawaii, they tag and release their marlin, so we don't know the exact weight of the fish, but the captain estimated that it was around 160 lbs. Here is a picture of the marlin.
And Jayson's dad did not catch anything this trip :(
But last time we were in Hawaii, he caught a tuna and a marlin :)

Congrats on the big fish Jay Charlie was super excited to see these pics. And great family photo on the top! Love it -Traci
